After being the only person ever admitted
to the Harvard Business School directly from his junior year of college,
Kevin P. Coyne has gone on to a wide-ranging career. As a Senior Partner
at McKinsey & Company, he consulted in more than twenty industries, on
every continent, and personally counseled over twenty-five CEOs. He has
conducted international negotiations for the U.S. government, and he has
led the worldwide strategy practice for the world's leading strategy consultancy.
He has taught strategy at the Harvard Business School, and is now Senior
Teaching Professor at the Goizueta Business School of Emory University.
Kevin has had over forty articles published, which have been cited in over
100 books, academic articles, Ph.D. theses, and textbooks. In the past year
alone, he has authored 15 articles, and been quoted in The Harvard Business
Review, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post,
The Financial Times, BusinessWeek.com, CNBC, CBS News.com, The Boston
Globe, and many other media outlets.

An expert in marketing strategy and organizational
effectiveness, Shawn T. Coyne has 25 years of experience in strategic
management consulting, brand management, and business leadership. He has
served as Senior Managing Principal & CAO of Zyman Group, an international
marketing consulting firm; as co-founder and CEO of Connexxia LLC, a communications
services company; as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, where
he served major clients in the fields of telecommunications, consumer
electronics, banking, information services, sports management and mass
communications; and as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble, where he helped
grow such iconic brands as Tide®, Ivory®, and Safeguard®. Shawn holds
a BA from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Northwestern University's
Kellogg School of Management. He has written articles for Harvard Business
Online and Executive Journal, and been featured or quoted in such publications
as The Wall St. Journal, University Business magazine, and The Atlanta
Business Chronicle.

Dr. Edward J. Coyne was one of the top
10 executives of Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation, a Fortune 200 company. Upon his retirement from Kaiser,
he obtained a Ph.D. in International Business and has since taught
at Nova Southeastern University, American College Dublin, and Samford
University. He has authored a number of articles and books on international
business. In the past year, he has authored articles in The Harvard Business
Review, Directorship magazine, and Chief Executive magazine.
